There’s been tons of stories recently about gyms and strips clubs banning phonecams, to prevent lecherous users from covertly snapping T-and-A. Japan’s AI-Corp thinks it has a compromise solution: A teensy cover labeled “Void” that fits over a phonecam lens. That way, I surmise, a nudie-bar patron can prevent the seizure of his handset by allaying fears that he’ll use it illicitly. Not a terrible idea, but wouldn’t a Band-Aid work just as well?
