A new device profiled on AkibaLive will record and display MPEG-4 files, and although it is only recording to SD cards, they claim 45 minutes of video can be shot on a single 512MB card. The Arex MobiDV-H10 can also take still pictures up to 2304 by 1728, as well as play MP3s and do voice recording. Not really up my alley (I want hard drive recording) but it could be a fun distraction for someone who wants a light-weight multi-purpose device.
