By the end of July we should see a new Pocket PC model from Asus — at least if the forked tongue of PDABuyer’sGuide can be believed (it can be). The A730 will have a 520MHz Intel PAX 270 processor, 64MB RAM/64MB ROM, and a 3.7-inch transreflective VGA display. Plus, expansion will be hot, with CF and SDIO built-in, but you won’t need either to use the built-in Bluetooth or 1.3-megapixel camera. How about USB host, you might ask? How about you have your damned USB host and get out of my face?
The Asus A730 will run Windows Mobile 2003 SE, and should be available in a similarly-spec’d model with WiFi.
