This fine new bit of graphical add-in power is the new prototype Asus version of the Nvidia 6600GT. If you look closely, you might notice something a bit different about it—twice as many GPUs. Since the 6600GT can already run in SLI mode (where you hook up two cards for twice, or nearly-twice the power), that means these cards could be as fast or faster than Nvidia's top-end 6800GT Ultra solution.

But it gets even crazier: see that port in the top left-hand corner? That's the connection to connect two cards in SLI mode, meaning that it might be possible for these new cards to operate in a quad-GPU configuration. That would be, as the French say, "really fast."
