Japanese company Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International makes… robots, and apparently gets paid by the word, too. They’re released a new series of consumer robots, including this Robovie-MS, which can be transformed into a variety of shapes, such as a dinosaur, a dog, and an arm. Most of the robots come as kits, designed for use as instructional aides in schools far, far cooler than our own.
