This coming Sunday, 5/13, join your fellow io9ers in San Francisco for your first (or tenth) viewing of amazing flick The Avengers. Afterwards, we'll stick around for drinks, food, and hanging out.

MOVIE: The Avengers, AMC Metreon 16, 5:30 PM
Special Note: This is not a 3D show because — let's face it — 3D sucks. If you are dying to see it in 3D there is a 5 PM 3D show at the same theater and you can still meet up afterwards.

HANGING OUT AFTER: Jillian's (downstairs at the Metreon), right after the movie. Drinks and bar food! Meet near the bar, and say hi to several of io9's writers, editors, and moderators who will be in town for this fine event. We will be the ones with io9 stickers.
