More details about the new Batmobile are leaking out with a feature in Rolling Stone that details some of the production work and story ideas behind the new Mad Max-style jet-powered bat-thing. Apparently they built three different ones for the movie at a cost of just $1.7 million each. Feature-wise, though, it’s sort of spartan (just like Bats’ new nipple-less armor), with just your standard issue supercar machine guns and grappling hook.

Oh, and did I mention that it is jet-powered? Like, actually jet-powered? They haven’t topped it out, but the creator projects it could hit 220 mph.
