Beats designed the Studio Pro Premium Wireless Over-Ear Headphones around a Custom Acoustic Platform that has 40mm drivers. The resulting product will run for 40 hours on a battery when ANC is turned off. With ANC enabled, the battery will last 24 hours. That means you’ll have enough power to cover an entire week’s commute using these headphones.

Over-ear headphones with high-quality active noise cancellation
Active Noise Cancellation technology is available on the Studio Pro, but it differs significantly from other products. Instead of relying on a predetermined setting once activated, this technology samples the surrounding environment and continually adjusts to the ambient noise. For example, if you’re walking into a crowded airport terminal and then board a train, you don’t have to physically adjust the headphones. Transparency mode reverses the process and lets outside sound back in when you need to hear a gate announcement.
Another valuable feature is Personalized Spatial Audio with Dynamic Head Tracking. Unlike traditional headphones that place sound directly between your two ears, these headphones use spatial audio to create a more immersive experience by placing the sounds around you. Even when turning your head or changing positions while wearing these headphones, the audio remains directed toward the correct location, meaning the screen or video being watched. That creates a much more enjoyable viewing experience whether you’re sitting in a theater or on a plane.
Battery life lasts about 40 hours with ANC disabled and about 24 hours with ANC enabled. That lets you enjoy your favorite music or watch a movie all day without worrying about charging. Fast Fuel also gives you 4 hours of playtime after only a 10-minute charge, so if you forget to charge them before leaving the house in the morning, they will still work.
The USB-C port on these headphones can charge them or let you listen to lossless audio via cable. While many wireless headphones don’t offer this capability because of cost constraints, this model includes it. Along with lossless audio via cable, plugging in also activates three additional built-in audio profiles that let you easily switch between different sound signatures. A 3.5mm jack handles older stereo equipment and the in-flight entertainment systems that still use one.
Beyond fast wired lossless audio, these headphones also offer fast Bluetooth streaming via the Class 1 Bluetooth chip. Most headphones don’t offer connectivity beyond 30 feet. However, the Class 1 chip in the Studio Pro offers extended range and greater reliability than lower-class chips. Both Apple and Android devices get one-touch pairing, and multipoint connectivity enables you to connect a laptop and a phone simultaneously, so a call arriving mid-video routes over on its own. These headphones are available in four colors: Black, Navy, Deep Brown, and Sandstone. Each color option includes a protective carry case at no extra cost.
