Written, directed, and starring Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson, Something in the Dirt is a twisty, turny, sci-fi mystery that also doubles as a tale of modern friendship. It features beautiful filmmaking and acting by its director/stars and is so chock full of interesting ideas, it’s almost like an entertaining Rorschach test.
