This Wireless Modem Set is neat. Plug the base station into a phone socket and the receiver into a spare USB port and the unit uses Bluetooth to bridge the modem connection. It’ll be slow, of course, but if you happen to be cursed with a lot of travel to places that still have only dial up data service, it will give you the freedom of Wi-Fi (with the speed of a wet sock).
