Aaah, you guys are killing me. The new µcard format can reach sizes of UP TO TWO TERABYTES, yes, I know. What you all seem to be missing is that it ISN’T A TWO TERABYTE CARD YET. Nobody knows what sizes they will release first, but I bet you all eight million ass coins that they will be available in the standard 512MB and 1GB versions like everything else. Maybe they’ll get showy and launch with a TWO GIGABYTE card. But I promise you – swear to you on the grave of our rotting savior – there will be NO TWO TERABYTE MEMORY CARD NEXT YEAR.
And as I said in my first story, even Sony’s current Memory Stick Duo and Pro formats support sizes up to two terabytes, but that doesn’t mean you can go down to the Recockulous Memory Store and pick up a 2TB card. The real news of the µcard format is that it has a fast transfer speed. But that’s it! That’s all there is! No two terabyte cards! Stop asking!
