It’s good to know that in this age of failing voting machines, spyware-laden PCs, and the conspicuously still-missing personal jetpack that mankind continues to extend his mastery over the cellphone. A man named Nico Morawa from a little European country called Germany has beaten the world record distance for cellphone throwing, attaining the now-ultimate distance of 65.80 meters, besting a previous record by Heiko Scholl. Oddly, both of the men hail from the town of Kamenz, which is now suspected of harboring a covert Luddite lofting academy, especially since the traditional greeting to the mountain hamlet is a beaning in the dome with a typewriter.
The technology industry had no comment. Perhaps we should have asked them a question. We just get so nervous.
