After working in the world of moving pictures for a while, Y: The Last Man scribe Brian K. Vaughan is coming back to the funny books with his new ongoing monthly science fiction series Saga.
Details are scant on this mature-readers book, but Vaughan’s working with illustrator Fiona Staples, it will be published by Image, and Saga is slated for a 2012 release. According to the writer, ” ‘Saga’ is an epic drama chronicling the life and times of one young family fighting to survive a never-ending war. 100 percent creator-owned.”
