Canon has released an updated PowerShot, bumping the A70 to the new A85, a 4-megapixel/3x optical zoom sidearm that also adds PictBridge comparability (for easy one-button transfer direct from camera to printer or portable hard drive). The A85 also ships with a 32MB Compact Flash card, which is a nice step up from the usual 16MB card most cameras are bundled with. It’s about time we start seeing even low-end cameras with 32- or even 64-meg flash memory cards right out of the box.
