Casio PCP-60 Postcard Printer

By

Reading time 1 minute

In the event that you are completely inept at using a computer, Casio offers the ~$450 USD “PCP-60.” And we’re not talking punching cops, thankfully – this is a compact printer that can operate without a PC.

I hope it’s really, really compact too, because otherwise I don’t think many people can justify paying so much. Loaded on the top of the unit is an LCD screen; it is also equipped with a keyboard to manually enter text onto postcards. Since postcards are far more popular in Japan than they are…basically everywhere, I don’t imagine this has any market outside of Japan.

Some more technical specifications include compatibility with basically every memory card format, and the unit also has more than 234 preloaded card designs. Hopefully you can remember which one you sent after a year, because you wouldn’t want anyone to know you’re faking their New Year’s card, would you?
