Cellphone towers screwing up homing pigeons

Britain’s Royal Pigeon Racing Association says that radiation from cellphone towers is screwing up the directional instincts of homing pigeons (those aren’t extinct?). Unfortunately, the only way to investigate — attaching a GPS tracking device to the pigeons — won’t work as they’re too heavy for a pigeon to carry.
