Oh, this is lovely, for real. I have a dirty secret. I recently discovered Ikea, and as someone who has lived their life spending the bulk of their money on gadgets and software, it was pleasing to know that I could purchase crappy pressboard furniture that actually looked sort of stylish, if only for a week or two before it starts to flake away. So this Chair Fix is like Ikea but even better, because it not only is made of relatively sturdy plywood (I’m so hard to impress, aren’t I?), but it can be assembled without that little hex wrench — no screws, just a few whacks with a mallet. Plus you can paint the board to your liking before popping out the pieces, and then have a matching piece of artwork for your chair.
