Circuits Discovers MusicPad

By

Reading time 1 minute

The Times’ Circuits section has a information-light profile of the “iPod for Sheet Music”, the MusicPad Pro Plus. Not a whole lot of new poop if you’ve read about it before, but they do mention a couple of competing systems, including one developed by Harry Connick Jr. (that doesn’t appear to be commercialized) and one called ‘eStand’, which claims to be even more powerful (WiFi-enabled, too) but hasn’t hit the market yet. I have a feeling, as good as any of these may be, that once ePaper technology gets a couple of product lifecycles out of the way we’ll see new models using those technologies instead of LCDs. (Thanks, Clyde!)
