If you had an itch to pick up the Clio NXT from Data Evolution, they’re running a special preorder program for $800 instead of the regular $1,000. They don’t actually expect to ship the Windows CE-powered laptop thingy until April, though, so don’t feel you have to tie your money up just yet (especially since the promo price will continue until February). I don’t know who wants a sub-notebook-sized Windows CE device, but obviously people like Psion are still selling Netbooks, so a few people are interested in low-power, long-running devices like this. The flip-over screen is potentially useful, too. If enough of you people preorder, I bet they’ll even come out with a product.

Update: Okay, what the hell. This thing came out in ’98! I’m not sure I was even born. There’s no word that it’s actually been upgraded, either, so let’s pretend this never happened. I don’t know what Data Evolution is doing. (Thanks, guys!)
