Most people probably never give much thought to wireless cueing systems. You’ve probably never seen one unless you work in TV news, the Secret Service, or the mind control or entertainment industry. They aren’t exactly new, nor are they particularly hot, but they have been big news as of late due to the possibility (real or imagined) that George W. Bush received either coaching or direct answers through such a system at the Presidential debates. Comtek’s RC-216 is a likely candidate for a wireless cueing system used by President Bush if he were to engage in such unscrupulous—or at least unadvertised— behavior.
The RC-216 receiver has a transducter that loops around the neck underneath clothes. When paired with AP-230 auto-prompter kit the entire system can be worn virtually undetected.
