A woman’s mobile phone may help her get her revenge from beyond the grave, as a UK court heard last week the text message that she wrote—but never sent—on the day she was fatally stabbed by her ex-husband. The message reads, “20 march 03, twice 2 day howard threatened to knife or stab me put hand round my throat tried to push me b-wards into kitchen. Said he would say self def.” Sounds like the husband deserves what he gets, too: Howard Woodin stabbed his ex-wife 26 times, “stopping halfway through to change knives when one broke through the ferocity of the blows.”
