We don’t normally talk about book reviews, but since Mark Goldstein’s Photography Blog is one of our favorites (and we must admit a certain weakness for O’Reilly books) I think we’ll make an exception as he reviews “Digital Photography Hacks” by Derrick Story. The short end? He likes it a lot, which is fairly high praise from someone who is already a photographer, calling it “well-rounded and not at all shallow” and “most suitable for the Intermediate category,” as well as “explicit,” “concentrate,” and “and.”
Although I haven’t read Story’s book, one thing that caught my eye is that out of 100 different tips, only 13 are about Photoshop. I love me some Photoshop, but I’m more interested in learning what to do so I don’t need it.
