Apex had their MP-2000 portable video player out on the floor, and it was everything a portable video player should be. Which is to say, it was portable, and it did play video. The controls were a little wonky to me, but I could get around and select clips just fine. I’ve seen better screens before, too, but despite the introductory price ($400, I believe) it’s not exactly a premium product, so we’ll give them some slack.
