Dinosaurs Aren't the Only Scary Thing In the First Trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

You can’t have a Jurassic movie without humans fighting dinosaurs. But, in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the dinosaurs aren’t the only disaster they’re up against. There’s also a giant ass volcano.

The first trailer for the sequel to the 2015 mega-hit reboot is here. This time though, J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is behind the camera telling the story of Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) forced to go back to their former theme park to save the dinosaurs from being eviscerated by liquid hot magma.

First thought is, “Holy shit, that’s a big movie.” But mostly, it’s nice to see and hear some homages to the original film in there, primarily Dr. Ian Malcolm played by Jeff Goldblum, who is, ah, once again, ah, talking about, ah, dinosaurs. Are you excited about this one?

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens June 22, 2018.
