If you don’t want to shell out the $20 for the new Griffin iBeam flashlight (and laser pointer) accessory for the iPod, you can always shell out $20 for parts (fine, a little less) and build your own using this German fellow’s design. It won’t be all white and shiny like a Griffin one, though, so all your snotty friends will think you’re a total lamer. That’s when you build the laser pointer and roast their orbs.
