The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Adventure Combo is the loaded version of DJI’s flagship action camera, packaged with three batteries, a multifunctional battery case that doubles as a power bank, a 1.5-meter extension rod, a mini quick-release mount, and the camera. The Action 5 Pro captures 4K video at up to 120 frames per second through a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, records in a 155-degree field of view, and survives 20 meters of water submersion without a case.

Go to Amazon to buy the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Adventure Combo for $369, down from its usual price of $449, which is a discount of $80 and 18% off.

The best bundle for anyone looking to get into drone photography

The 1/1.3-inch sensor has allowed DJI to close that gap with GoPro’s Hero series in low-light photography. This camera can shoot in a full 13.5 stops of dynamic range, which is one stop higher than the Action 4 and gives you more detail from your brightest highlights and darkest shadows in the same image. So, if you’re surfing at dawn, backlit mountain scenes, or riding at night through an urban area where streetlights cause other cameras to lose detail, this camera will keep up. It also utilizes a 4nm chip that performs real-time noise reduction, subject tracking, and stabilization, while operating without overheating.

Battery Life is arguably the spec with the greatest practical impact for an action-camera buyer. At cold temperatures (down to -20° C), each battery lasts up to 4 hours of continuous video capture. With the three that come with the combo, you’ll be able to shoot for longer than 12 hours. The charging case will also simultaneously top off all three batteries via a single cable and provide power out via USB-C, so you can charge either a phone or the camera while on a trail.

Stabilization is accomplished using both RockSteady and HorizonSteady electronic stabilization systems developed by DJI. These systems stabilize the image in real time and maintain a level horizon during a full 360-degree rotation of the camera body. With this stabilization system, you don’t need a gimbal, and you’ll get smooth stabilized video regardless of whether you are shooting from a handlebar mount, a chest harness, or a helmet.

The camera features two OLED screens, one on the front and one on the back, making it easier to frame your selfie or vlog shot. It also features a built-in pressure gauge that shows you your current altitude while hiking, climbing, or skiing, then changes to show the water depth once submerged. It will automatically start recording as soon as you enter the water and stop recording when you leave.

Audio is a standout thanks to DJI’s OsmoAudio ecosystem. The camera connects directly to up to two DJI Mic 2 or Mic Mini transmitters without a separate receiver, recording 48kHz audio from the wireless mics straight to the camera. Three built-in omnidirectional mics handle ambient sound for anyone not running a wireless rig.

The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Adventure Combo is going for $369 right now instead of the usual $449. Buying the standard combo and adding two extra batteries, a charging case, and an extension rod separately would run past the sale price on its own, and the full kit covers everything a first-time action camera owner needs without another accessory order.
