The DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo is DJI’s entry-level 4K drone bundled with the accessories needed to shoot a full day of aerial footage without recharging. The drone weighs under 249 grams, keeping it below the FAA registration threshold in the US, and folds down to palm size for backpack travel. A 3-axis gimbal stabilizes 4K/30fps video captured through the 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor. The combo adds three Intelligent Flight Batteries, a two-way charging hub, three sets of spare propellers, and a shoulder bag.

The DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo is currently $339 on Amazon, down from its $449 list price for a 24% discount.

A combo kit to help you take to the skies and get started with drone photography and more

Anyone in the US can fly the Mini 4K without registering it or taking the FAA’s TRUST test, since the drone weighs in under the 249-gram threshold that separates recreational drones from those requiring paperwork. Folded, it measures about the size of a paperback book and fits into the included shoulder bag next to the batteries and spare propellers. Once in flight, palm-sized doesn’t translate to fragile. The Mini 4K rates for Level 5 wind resistance at 38 kph and takes off up to 4,000 meters above sea level.

The camera itself uses a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor attached to a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, with electronic image stabilization used in conjunction with the gimbal to provide smooth video while handheld. Video can be recorded at UHD resolution up to 4K at 30 fps. Still images are captured at 12MP in either JPEG or RAW format, allowing you to edit your photos without losing detail. QuickShots creates popular cinematic patterns such as circles, spirals, and boomerangs with just one button click within the DJI Fly app.

Flight range on the Mini 4K reaches up to 10 kilometers via DJI’s O2 video transmission protocol, useful for maintaining a clear video feed at legal FAA distances. Each Intelligent Flight Battery lasts about 31 minutes per charge, and the Fly More Combo bundle includes three batteries for a total of 93 minutes before you need to recharge. The two-way charging hub also recharges the batteries in sequence from a single input. Recharging takes about 60 minutes per battery from a standard USB-C wall adapter.

The Mini 4K is DJI’s beginner-friendly drone, targeting new pilots more than experienced ones. One-tap takeoff and landing removes the manual throttle input most first-time flyers struggle with. Return to Home uses onboard GPS to bring the drone back to the takeoff point if the battery gets low or the transmission signal weakens. Stable hovering is automatic thanks to downward-facing vision sensors and infrared positioning, which hold the drone in place even when you release the sticks.

The Fly More Combo bundles three batteries and the charging hub together, making 90-plus minutes of continuous flight time possible on a full charge. At $339, down from $449, the combo drops the price to around $50 more than the base Mini 4K on its own.
