If you’re as attached to your vintage pink rotary phone as I am, good news: PhoneLabs has released a new device called the Dock-N-Talk which allows you to use any standard corded (or cordless) phone to make calls over your cell phone or landline. It really seems like they’ve done right by this—features include support of over 400 cell phone models, the ability to charge your cell, Bluetooth compatibility, caller ID forwarding, and mutation-reducing cell phone radiation elimination (since you don’t need to hold your cell phone inches away from your parietal lobe.) $140.00 direct, but you need to spend an additional $15-$30 for the appropriate cell model cable, and if you like the Bluetooth compatibility, that’ll run you $70 extra. Still, not a bad thing for those who like their comfortable home phones but use their cell account profusely.
And yes, I want to listen to a program called ‘Dokken Talk’ now, too.
