Trump was admitted to the hospital with covid-19 in October 2020 and was given the Regeneron treatment which was largely unavailable to the general public at large. At the time, there were approximately 223,000 covid-related deaths in the U.S. and as of January 2023, there have been 1.1 million deaths in the U.S. alone, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
