An extremely limited-edition Doraemon iPod mini will be launching today in Japan, with just 1,000 units to be made. Each model will include a baby blue iPod with the strange anime cat thing inscribed on the back, a carrying case, as well as five custom touch wheel covers to add a little of your own personal kawaii flair. If you must have one, Semsons will be importing a few for $490 a pop—that’s a heck of a mark-up for an iPod mini, but if you’re a Western Doraemon fan, you’re already not quite firing on all cylinders.
