More pics from the Gizmodo E3 Floor Team, this time of Infinium Labs’ Phantom console (and the first ground breaking title, VARMINTZ!), as well as a special Yeeeehaw! surprise.
Also, and I don’t recall where I heard this, but some are saying that Infinium is claiming not to have been able to get a broadband connection to the floor, so they weren’t demo’ing their ‘games downloading service’ (sort of the whole point of the Phantom). That doesn’t bode very well at all, especially when plenty of other booths had broadband without issue.

Update: Infinium contacted me to maintain that they did have Internet connections for the Phantom receivers in the E3 booth. Booth attendees could jump online, browse servers, and join multiplayer games hosted on PCs. Not what our source said, of course, but we’ll take their word for it.
