Ecast Unplugged: Jukebox Wi-Fi

By

Reading time 1 minute

A company called Ecast is showing off a really smart upgrade to their jukebox products. They already have an existing installed base of jukeboxes that connect to the internet to download new music content—now they’re going to offer Wi-Fi service out of the jukeboxes, as well.

Okay, sure, it’s not super innovative, but it piggybacks off a system that exists primarily in bars. Working lunch ahoy, I’m saying. And yeah, there’s a trapeze artist at their trade show. These are clearly my people. (Thanks, Marleen!)
