Two German companies have teamed up to offer “The EKG Shirt” to monitor the heart rate of athletes. The shirt has a Bluetooth connection that can connect to phones to store the cardiac information or pass it on to a medical service center. It looks a little bulky, but potentially useful, for sure, especially if you’re a young rap star with a history of drug-related heart issues. Just saying.
And despite the lack of a picture properly illustrating this, the unit does actually go inside the shirt. You don’t have to run down the track with one hand clutching your chest, unless you’re me, of course.
