Much to the delight of indiscriminate lightweights everywhere, 84-year-old sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer is coming out with her own label of wine—Vin D’Amour—specially formulated to have a alcohol content of only 6-percent by volume, as opposed to the typical 13-percent ABV.
The reason: “If [the woman] drinks too much, she falls asleep,” says Dr. Ruth, “and if [the man] drinks too much, he can’t perform.” Vin d’Amour—which will be sold for $7.99 to $9.99 per bottle, with a portion of the profits going to the Museum of Jewish Heritage—is meant to be the wine that gets you just the right level if tipsy, so you’re never too drunk to fuck. “When people get drunk, there is no way they can be good lovers,” the sex doc told the New York Post. “And nobody wants to go to bed with somebody who gets drunk, vomits and wakes up with a hangover.
