See, I saw that Epson had released a new model of their “World’s Lightest Micro-Flying Robot” – you know, the one that was a big deal late last year – and thought, “We’ve already talked about that. Nobody will be interested.” I was wrong, according to the emails, though, so I guess I better mention it. The biggest difference between the old model and the new one is that the update appears to be running untethered, although it still flies with a bit of a wobble. It’s too small to be used outside, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some implementation of these available for purchase soon. Although they have serious uses, too – investigating accident scenes, etc. – with the Bluetooth and built-in camera, it would make a perfect office toy, until you were fired for industrial espionage.
Also, could the girl in the video be any less excited?
