If James Bond ever went full on whiskey tango, with mullet, cut-off t-shirts, cheap beer and even accessory wife-slapper, he would use a device like this. Some smarty pants decided to integrate a pair of omni directional electret condenser microphones into a leather fanny pack and connect it to a digital audio recording device. Apparently it does is good job recording concerts and whatnot, this is available for $89 through Sonopak. You could probably get away with this fanny pack device at a Poison concert, but you would probably get cried out of a My Chemical Romance concert by a mass of emo kids.
