If no one believes this rumor, why are we writing about it? Because it’s freaking INSANE. Cult of Mac has a self admittedly frigtarded, but nonetheless entertaining rumor that Cingular’s exclusive hold on the iPhone will only last 14 days. After their time’s up, every carrier (except Verizon, of course) will have the coveted phone in their arsenal. The rumor comes via a “leak” from a T-Mobile employee who claims they’ll have the iPhone two weeks after Cingular’s exclusive expires. Sounds more like a case of jealousy to me.
