The CW's Vampire Diaries is a huge hit, so naturally show creator Kevin Williamson is getting another drama to tackle and this time he's sexifying the classic paranormal investigation story. His next project is being called The X-Files meets Buffy.

While we're not sure how much of that mash-up statement is true, and how much of it is just pandering to the popularity of the previously mentioned TV series, one thing is certain: Williamson is gearing up to revamp the paranormal investigators TV trope.

Deadline is reporting that Williamson's next big TV project will focus on a group of people who investigate paranormal happenings. And based on Williamson's very successful record at the CW, we can only imagine that this group will be made up of sexy teens dealing with sexy paranormal romance issues, in sexy ways. Solidifying this guess is the fact that Vampire Diaries co-creator and executive producer Julie Plec is "in talks" to co-write the series with Williamson. So how can the CW out-sexy their already smokin' hot paranormal series Supernatural? Is it even possible to out-smolder the Winchester brothers?
