Suspended by four stainless steel cords, the Float bed by German mathematician Max Longin tries not to “inhibit or obstruct the movements of lying or loving” (the movement of lying about loving is usually a tuck and roll) and instead attempts to “balance them and carry them to rest.” It’s an interesting concept, but you’ll probably want to try one out in person before you drop 3,960 euros on the it. The bed even breaks down and packs within itself to form an easily-transported case.
