Could there be any more beautiful way to honor America than programming eight floppy drives to play The Star-Spangled Banner in sync? If so, I havenā€™t found it.

Anand Jain, better known as ā€œMrSolidSnake745,ā€ is a guy who likes music, programming, and old hardware. His floppy drive ensemble has performed many a popular tune, including Star Warsā€™ Imperial March, the Game of Thrones theme song, and (my personal fav) Dj Darudeā€™s Sandstorm. But today, Jay pays tribute to the U.S. of A., and he does so in the most nerdgasmly awesome way possible.

Happy ā€˜Murica day, Gizmodo.
