If you’ve got something like 10 to 30 thousand dollars at hand, Force Dynamics would like to talk to you about their model 301 “personal motion simulator.” While the 301 has the same 3 axis movement of larger, professional simulators, the model is small enough to fit into a normally-sized room and can operate on standard 110-volt power. They’ll even outfit the 301 with a built-in DLP projector and speakers if you like. The only shortcoming seems to be a lack of software support—just Live for Speed and NASCAR 2003 (and you can simulate NASCAR just by jacking up the right side of your couch).
