LEGO has changed a lot over the years. Now you can get these massive sets that bring to life all the recognizable characters, buildings, and vessels across pretty much every IP under the sun. You can find sets for Marvel heroes, Formula 1, that wizard school property we all liked growing up. Heck, you can recreate the living room from Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment in his hit 90s sitcom. There have been nearly 1,000 different LEGO Star Wars sets ever since their partnership with started back in 1999. While all these sets can be pretty cool, this isn’t what the heart of LEGO is about. It’s about being creative. And nothing is more true to that style of play than just having a big ol’ box of miscellaneous LEGO bricks.
Right now, Amazon has a couple different tubs of LEGO bricks on sale. The LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box normally sells for $35, but the deal has the price down by 29% which saves $10, leaving you only having to pay $25. Likewise, the LEGO Classic Large Creative Brick Box has found itself discounted 35%. That brings the price down from $60 to just $40, saving you $20 for a limited time.

Be Creative
Each box comes with tons of assorted bricks in various sizes and colors.
Starting with the medium box, here you get a total of 484 pieces to build and play with, containing 35 different color to inspire imaginative play.
Beyond just the basic LEGO bricks, you also get more specific pieces to help shape you builds like windows and toy eyes. You can 18 tires and toy wheel rims so you can build cars, trucks, and other vehicles. Also included is a green baseplate to lock your builds in place onto.
With the large box, you get a total of 790 pieces. Oddly enough, this set only has 33 different colors—two less than the medium box. It’s unclear which two colors are not here. If you end up picking up both, come back and comment which are missing. I’m curious.
In this box, you also get eight different types of toy windows and toy doors. You get not just one, but two of those green baseplates. This box also contains significantly fewer tires and wheel rims—only six in total.
Best of all, the medium box and large box all these piece come in also serve as storage for your pieces. They’re modeled after LEGO bricks themselves, only much bigger. The medium box’s measurements aren’t listed, but the large box stands 10 inches tall.
