If the standard 6-inch or so screen that comes with most smartphones isn’t enough for you, but you don’t exactly want to carry a separate tablet with you either, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 can give you the best of both worlds. It opens up into a big 7.6-inch screen that has plenty of room to stream, read, scroll, and game, but also folds to become a regular smartphone.
The only catch, and one that’s not so small, is its retail price of $1,900. If that’s been keeping you from upgrading, you’ll be happy to know that Amazon is offering this top-rated Android phone at an 11% discount today. This brings the total down to $1,700, and the offer applies to all colors. Another nice way to save some cash is by trading in an older, eligible phone. The retailer is offering up to $1,015 in trade-in credit, plus it’s throwing in an extra $200 if you do it right now. The exact value you get for the device you’re planning to send in will depend on its condition, but it’s still a nice way to take some more bucks off your total.
Long battery, great performance
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 displays a spacious 7.6-inch screen when you unfold it. There’s plenty of room to do everything that could feel more enjoyable on a bigger screen, from Instagram to reading a book, streaming a show, and even gaming. Folded, it looks and works like a regular smartphone, which is ideal for everyday use! The screen is pretty bright, so using it out in the sun won’t be uncomfortable either.
The camera system is just as great. You get a dual-camera system on the rear (50MP), with two separate selfie cameras. Features like My FanCam, Photo Assist, and Horizontal Lock make it easy to get professional shots that are instantly ready to be shared on your socials. Plus, since the battery is made to support hours and hours of use, you can film long-form videos, edit content, and a lot more without constantly worrying about running out of charge. Samsung claims the phone can go up to 26 hours with continuous streaming, which is really impressive.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is now discounted by 11% on Amazon. It’s currently available for $1,700, which is $200 less than the usual price. Trading in your old phone can save you even more on your purchase, especially if it’s in good condition.
