The Lenovo Flex 3i Chromebook 12.2″, 2-in-1 Notebook PC has a flexible, compact touchscreen and can fold at 360° on the hinge. This allows you to use it as a standard notebook to type on, as a folded version to watch movies or videos, and as a touchscreen tablet to browse the internet with your fingers. It runs on Chrome OS and includes an Intel N100 CPU and 4GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It includes 64GB of EMMC storage, which increases to 224GB when using the included dock. The 12.2-inch WUXGA display runs at 1920 by 1200, sharper than the 1080p screens on most Chromebooks at this price, and the whole laptop weighs 2.76 pounds.

You can buy the Lenovo Flex 3i Chromebook 12.2″ 2-in-1 Laptop on Amazon for just $319, down from its usual price of $449. That’s a $130 discount and 29% off.

A reliable daily driver laptop with serious versatility

The Intel N100 is a four-core chip that runs at up to 3.4GHz and covers the kind of work most people actually do on a Chromebook without any issues. Web browsing across a dozen tabs, Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, YouTube, Zoom calls, and Android apps from the Play Store all run smoothly, and because the chip doesn’t need a fan, the Lenovo Flex 3i is completely silent during use. The 4GB of LPDDR5 memory keeps Chrome OS responsive across multiple open tabs and apps, though it isn’t upgradeable after purchase.

The 12.2-inch IPS touchscreen can reach up to 300 nits of brightness. This allows for comfortable viewing in natural daylight from a window or even overhead light. With its 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, it has more vertical pixels than a typical 1080p display. This results in more room vertically for document scrolling and web page reading.

Battery life is rated at up to 12 hours, enough to cover a full school day or workday without a charger. The 47Wh battery charges via USB-C with the included 45W adapter, and the laptop can also output video to an external display via the same USB-C port. A full-size HDMI port is built into the side as well, which is unusual for a laptop this small and lets you plug into a projector or monitor without carrying a dongle.

Ports include two USB-A 3.2, one USB-C 3.2 with Power Delivery and DisplayPort, a microSD card reader, and a headphone and mic combo jack. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 are built in, and an HD 720p webcam with a physical privacy shutter is included for video calls.

The Lenovo Flex 3i Chromebook 12.2″ 2-in-1 Laptop has dropped to $319 from its regular price of $449. This 2-in-1 Chromebook includes a bright 1200p touchscreen display, an HDMI port that lets you connect your Chromebook directly to your monitor or TV, enough battery power for use throughout the day, and it does all this at a lower cost than a Windows laptop.
