Freecom has upgraded their strangely appealing USB Card Pro to a 1GB model. The USB Card is a magnesium alloy flash memory drive with a pop-out bit to connect to PCs—the idea being that it’s easier to carry in a wallet than a standard thumbdrive. Whether or not that’s worth the price premium to you (the 512MB version is listed at $270 on their site) may depend on your wardrobe.
Also, completely unrelated aside: why did they release Half-Life 2 in the morning. It’s like they are trying to rub it into my beak.
