I don’t know how much stock to put in either organization, but TRUSTe has withdrawn its approval of FreeiPods.com, saying they do not protect children’s data and had changed their method of dealing with customers’ private information without properly notifying them. So basically the upshot is two-fold: the spam farmers marketing company isn’t taking utmost care of your private information, and now you have even less reason to send me invitation emails to try to earn your iPod/FlatPanel/MacMini (“Just two more!??! PLZ”).
