I’m one of those people for whom Fujitsu’s new claim about their LifeBook N3500 screen looking “CRT-like” falls flat. I know, CRTs are more accurate at color and all that, but after switching to LCDs for my desktop, my eyes have never been not-crustier. So that’s good, because the N3500 is a desktop replacement notebook with a 15.4-inch screen that claims to be good enough even for digital media work, so you might pull off the best of both worlds (we’ll see how that pans out in the reviews).
The Pentium M- and PCI-Express-powered machines will start at $1,500 and be available soonish (they haven’t said).
