Samsung used its latest Unpacked showcase to roll out updates across its Galaxy lineup, headlined by the new flagship phone—the S26 Ultra. Alongside the smartphones, the company also introduced refreshed models of its wireless earbuds.
Pre-orders are now live for both the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. Samsung has set the standard Buds 4 at $180, while the Buds 4 Pro land at $250. Most major retailers are taking orders now, but you may want to order yours directly as Samsung has something extra up its sleeve.
Retailers are carrying the usual black and white finishes, though Samsung is reserving a pink gold edition of the Buds 4 Pro as an online exclusive. For anyone who likes all things pink, that colorway may be reason enough to order directly.

Fourth-Generation Audio Upgrades
Samsung focused heavily on sound improvements for this generation. Both models feature redesigned internal components with wider woofers and tweeters, capable of richer bass and more detailed highs compared to the previous iteration.
Each pair supports multi-channel 360 Audio, creating a more immersive soundstage when watching compatible content. When paired with a newer Galaxy smartphone, listeners can access audio playback up to 24-bit/96kHz, pushing fidelity even further.
Active noise cancellation also sees a significant boost. The new Enhanced ANC system analyzes the unique shape of the wearer’s ears to optimize sound delivery and noise blocking.
Samsung has continued building on its intelligent ambient features. The automatic conversation detection introduced in earlier Pro models returns, smoothly lowering noise cancellation and amplifying surrounding sound when the earbuds sense you are starting a conversation. Now the Buds 4 Pro have added a new siren detection feature which can activate ambient mode if emergency vehicles or o other alarms are detected nearby.
Smarter Controls and Refined Design
Hands-free interaction gets an upgrade with head gesture controls. Users can nod to answer calls or shake their head to decline them, which can prove useful when hands are full. This has been supported on Apple’s latest set of AirPods, and now Samsung has it too.
Both the Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro models arrive with updated charging cases featuring a transparent hood. Battery life remains competitive. With ANC disabled, the charging case provides up to 30 hours of listening time. On a single charge, the Buds 4 deliver up to six hours of playback, while the Buds 4 Pro extend that to roughly seven hours.
Samsung expects both models to begin shipping on March 11. Customers who place a pre-order will also receive 30% off select protective cases for their charging case—a small bonus for early adopters.
