Phones have gotten crazy expensive. Both Samsung and Apple now have foldable options that can open up to the size of small tablets with all sorts of other bells and whistles, though, they’re charging literal thousands of dollars for them. Not everyone wants to—or can even afford to—pay that much for a phone. Now that doesn’t mean you have to go down to something like as feature-light as an old Nokia. There is a middle ground for folks who just want a phone that does modern phone things without taking out a second mortgage. Samsung has a great budget-minded smartphone. It’s the Galaxy S26 FE and right now it’s actually on sale for even less than usual.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE comes in two different storage sizes of your choice. The 128GB and 256GB models are each on sale at the moment for a solid $100 off. That works out to a 14% discount on the 128GB model, bringing it down from $700 to just $600. For the 256GB model, that one now comes down by 13%, dropping the price from $800 to just $700.
Camera System
Like the flagship Galaxy S26, the FE model has a three-camera system on the rear side. The 50MP wide angle main camera can handle most of your photography, while the 12MP ultra wide and the 8MP telephoto cameras are great for landscape shots and closeups.
Shooting video with the Galaxy S26 FE has been made easy with some handy features. A common problem when recording on just a phone alone is introducing a level of camera shake if you move the phone even just a little bit. Well the S26 FE has Super Steady Video with Horizontal Lock. When enabled, this is able to keep your camera anchored to the horizon. This way your footage comes out straight and smooth every time you need it to. You can also use the My FanCam feature to reframe your shots after the fact, tracking your subject in the center of frame.
Battery life is pretty reliable. The phone comes with a 4,900mAh capacity. That ends up shaking out to roughly 29 hours of heavy use, including watching video. It charges back up quickly too, supporting and input of up to 45W.
Amazon has the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE available in three different colors for both the 128GB and 256GB models. You can choose between blueberry, graphite, or pistachio. All three styles are equally on sale for $100 off, so you can pick which ever one best matches yo preferences knowing you’re getting the best deal regardless.
