Some good things from the always interesting SorobanGeeks’ Akihabara News, including these Computex showing of a portable media player from MSI, the ‘Mega View 512’ (top right) and the Piston Socket 775 mini PC from FIC (bottom right) which looks an awful lot like those tube subwoofers, but may just be cylindrical for coolness’s sake. And finally, just because I have a hard time resisting robots of any sort, but especially cheap (~$50) robot kits for kids, check out the latest in Gakken’s ‘Mechanical Animal’ series of Mechamo robots: teh crab!
